Podiums?

What’s been your experience with choosing podiums for your stages? We’re trying to strike the right balance between functionality and speaker comfort—especially for those who prefer to move around or use notes/devices. Have you found any particular styles or setups that work especially well (or not so well)?

Last year I was saved by the AV team that had a spare podium available for me:

This year I am planing to invest in a couple of these. Your advice?

my collegues in Dubai are using this podium - that has a built in monitor:

.. it looks slick and very nice indeed, though I am thinking of a being able to show even more information on the screen = larger screen.

This one looks really cool, though seems to be an overkill as includes lots of gear + seems to be very heavy:

then, there are simple metal constructions like these:

though looks a bit simplistic for this price range.. what do you think?

the more I think about these > the body needs to be metal (bearing in mind transportation and that it will be dismantled and put together many many times).. wooden podiums/lenterns don't seem to be fit for dismantling (anyone moving ikea furniture will know this)
